BEACON – NO DOLE - REAL FUTURES
An important partnership at Glenmore is with the national not for profit Beacon Foundation. This national network has assisted us to develop important links with the business community and to enable programs based on the Beacon formats to be used to expand opportunities for our learners. These programs include the “ No Dole Charter Signing”; Adopt a Class and Industry mentors and advisers.
The “No Dole” Charter Signing occurs for Year 10’s every year. Community, parents, staff and students join together to witness the commitment of Year 10’s to further education, training or work. It is a very special occasion shared with Mount Morgan State High School – our BEACON partners in Central Queensland.
