To assist our Year 10 students to explore potential career pathways and to expose them to industry employers, we offer a flexible Work Experience Placement Program.
The Work Experience Placement Program is undertaken from Monday to Friday during Week 10 of Term 2 each year.
Students are encouraged to source potential work experience placements directly with suitable employers. This practice is encouraged to develop self-confidence and communication skills, as well as to provide experience in seeking employment and making employer connections.
As part of this process, all students participating in the Work Experience Placement Program must fill out and return an Expression of Interest (EOI) Form by Friday of Week 7 in Term 1 to the Senior School Office in the Library. The EOI Form is to include all the details regarding the placement, especially the employer contact details.
Students struggling or unable to find a placement are encouraged to make contact as soon as possible with the Senior School Office in the Library to assist.
