Each year, we take great pride in recognising the efforts of our students who complete Year 12. Many go on to further study, training or employment, and ultimately make meaningful contributions to the community — something we are incredibly proud of.
Among each group of Year 12 graduates, there are always some who need a little extra support to make a successful transition beyond school. To support these young people, the Queensland Government funds the Link and Launch program — a school-based initiative that helps them explore their options and take the next step toward a positive future.
Link and Launch is designed specifically for young people who have completed Year 12 but are not yet engaged in further study, training or work. The program provides individualised support to help them:
Identify goals, strengths and interests
Explore post-school options
Navigate application systems and processes
Make confident, informed decisions about their next steps
We are proud to offer Link and Launch support to any local young person who has completed Year 12, regardless of which school they attended.
Our Link and Launch Officer, Ky Dunglison, works directly with young people to guide and support their journey, aiming to empower them to make independent choices that lead to lasting success.
